We are an intergenerational and diverse group of disciples, striving to follow Jesus Christ in the patient way of Love. We are fallen, but forgiven; we are (mostly) baptized, but still wet; and we are striving for perfection, but often coming up short. In a word, we are a people totally reliant on the grace of God. If you come here looking for people who have all the answers, you’ll likely be disappointed. But if you’ve got questions, we’d love to listen and journey with you toward God.
Living in Faith, Joyful in Hope, Generous in Love.
WE ARE THE EPISCOPAL BRANCH OF THE JESUS MOVEMENT.
We are an Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Rochester and a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion. Come and experience the good work that Christ is bringing to completion in the lives of parishioners here in St. Michael’s Church.
WE NURTURE EACH OTHER IN FAITH.
Mission and outreach in St. Michael’s is hands on. That is, we serve the community through relationship building, attending to the needs of others as our own. In order to do this, we do not try to do everything but strive to do a few things well. We are partners with local im/migrant agricultural workers, a senior living facility, a battered women’s shelter, and the Geneseo-Groveland Food Pantry. With each, we strive to bear witness to the consolation of Christ, offering ourselves as a living sacrifice to God for the benefit of our neighbors.
